Obituary of Waymon Bryson Cooke

Waymon Bryson Cooke passed away on November 14, 2022. He was born in Covington, KY on January 2, 1948. He was the beloved husband to his wife, Kay for 38 wonderful years, a one-of-a-kind papaw to Gus Meyer and Bree Cooke, stepfather and friend to Edward Meyer and Donald Meyer, and father of Rebecca Cooke, a decorated war veteran who enjoys spending time with his family and tending to his farm. An avid target shooter who enjoyed the outdoors and talking politics with friends. Waymon proudly served his country in the United States Army from February 1969 until February 1971. He was in the first calvary division in Vietnam where he was awarded two purple hearts and a Commendation Medal for Heroism. Wayman loved God, his Family and the United States Army.
