Obituary of Eugene Clark Brzezinski

     Eugene Clark “Gene” Brzezinski, a resident of Elsmere, KY passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at the vibrant age of 55.

     He was born in Hammond, IN on September 6, 1966, the son of Edward and Virginia Brzezinski. Gene was a proud steelworker having worked for U.S. Steel and was a member of Union Baptist Church in Union, KY. In his free time, Gene often enjoyed debating politics, reading books and watching movies. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family and cheering on Notre Dame Fighting Irish football. Go Irish!!!!

     Preceding Gene in death was his brother, Mickey Corcoran.

     Those left surviving to carry on Gene's memory are his loving mother, Virginia Spitzer; caring siblings, Edward (Sandi) Brzezinski, Jr. and Shawn (Steve) Garzony; his faithful fur companion, his dog Odie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.

     A visitation celebrating Gene’s life will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Kevin Janofski from Union Baptist Church will preside over the services. Gene will then be laid to rest at Hopeful Cemetery in Florence, KY.

     In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the family courtesy of Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home for a memorial to be placed at the cemetery.
