Obituary of Jeanette Howe Skimerton

Jeanette Howe Skimerton, age 72, of Walton, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at her residence, surrounded by loved ones.  She was a retired Manager for Cincinnati Bell, a member of Union Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, and a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Latonia, KY.  Jeanette grew up on a farm and understood the value of hard work.  She enjoyed traveling (especially to Amish country), collecting plates (she was partial to Thomas Kinkade), but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and praising her Lord.  Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mary Lou Slayback Howe; and her brothers, Lawrence Howe, Jr. and Morris Lee Howe.  She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel D. Skimerton; children, Sherri Skimerton and Steven Skimerton; nieces, Tonya Arrasmith (Chris) and Stacy Craddock (Kelly); nephew, Travis Howe (Elise); one great niece and five great nephews.  Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with the funeral service immediately following at 12 noon at Union Baptist Church, 1985 Mt.
