Obituary of Larry Ray Schulkers

     Larry Ray Schulkers, of Demossville, KY passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the age of 80. He was born in Newport, KY on June 28, 1942.

     Larry worked as a millwright for D & D Industrial Contracting. In his spare time, he often enjoyed mowing his grass, tending to his garden and hunting. His greatest joy, however, came from spending time with his family who he cherished deeply.

     Preceding Larry in death were his son, Christopher Ray Schulkers; a brother, James Schulkers; and two sisters, Patsy Ward and Ruth Kammerer.

     Those left surviving to carry on Larry’s memory include his two children, Kathy Osbourn and Scott (Shona) Schulkers; long-time girlfriend, Amy Koskela-Visconti; grandchildren, Michael Schulkers, Scott Schulkers II, Cody Schulkers, Logan Schulkers, Hunter Osbourn, Noah Schulkers and Lucas Schulkers; sister-in-law, Rose Schulkers; 6 great-grandchildren; as well as many other close relatives and friends.

     Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence, KY is assisting the family during this difficult time.
