Obituary of Ace Crank

Ace Crank, 73, of Independence, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a self-employed mechanic, owner of Ace Sewer and Drain Co., and a member of New Hope Tabernacle Church of God, Walton.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Crank; daughters, Brenda Smith of Covington, Susan Julick of Taylor Mill and Betsy Carroll of Independence; sons, Daniel Ace Crank, Jeff Crank and Jim Crank, all of Independence, and Robert Crank of Newport; brothers, Gus Crank of Dayton and Floyd Crank of Fort Mitchell; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
