Ms Elliott, Ms Eckler and my Mom, Shirley Bible were great friends. Mom was the secretary at Perry High School where Ms Elliott was a teacher. She was such a fun person to be around. She and Ms. Eckler always had a sale in early part of summer and Mom would get an early invite! She would come home with shoes, clothes, jewelry, etc. and had a ball! Will always remember her fondly…such a nice, funny lady! My condolences to her family…

There are not enough words to express my sympathy for the loss of this great teacher. She believed in me and so many others when not many others did, She treated each of us with the most love and respect. Shaping and molding us to be model citizens, great cooks, knowledageable parents and all around good people. I found a love of reading, cooking and sewing in all of the years and classes that she taught at Perry School. Later in life she and Miss Eckler would seek me out at Meijer grocery and catch up for a few minuites, as well as asking for my help to find items throughout the store, it was always a pleasure to help her find what she was looking for. May the Lord Bless and keep her family. My condolences

I had Miss Elliott for three years in high school. Then two of my children were in her pre kindergarten class. I have such a heavy heart. She was one of the best teachers I ever had. I can not begin to tell you all that I learned from her. It has helped me to be a better wife and mother. This I owe to her. I want you to know that she may be gone but I will remember her. I had Miss Elliott as my High School Home Ec. teacher at Perry High School in Lima, OH. She was a very kind teacher / lady. I enjoyed being a student in her class and learned alot from her. ~~ Pam Powell (Perry class of 1975)
