Obituary of Rick VanCleve

Rick VanCleve, 64, of Williamstown, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Florence Hospital. The son of the late Mary {Estep} and James “Boss” VanCleve, Rick was born in Covington on December 23, 1957.

Rick worked for Meyer Tool as a Machine Tech for over 20 years. He loved hunting, fishing, going to antique car shows and riding motorcycles. He especially enjoyed being Gramps to his beloved grandchildren.

Those to carry on Rick’s legacy are his children Ricky Matthew VanCleve and Machelle (Sam) Ryan; grandchildren Kylee Ray Ryan and Zeke Mavrick Ryan; brother Ronnie (Margie) VanCleve; and sister Lena (Carl) King.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Betty Fisher and Connie VanCleve, and brother James VanCleve.

Visitation will be held between 4 PM and 7 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10 AM on Friday, May 27, 2022.
