Obituary of Donna Kaye Sebastian

     Donna Kaye Sebastian of Union, age 58, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence, KY. She was born in Clay County, KY on August 30, 1963 to the late Berryjack and Dorothy Gilbert. Donna retired as a Director of Environmental Services and attended Grace Fellowship Church.  She loved to go camping, take family vacations to Myrtle Beach, and go on cruises with her husband. If she was somewhere near water- she was happy. She also enjoyed taking care of her vegetable garden every summer where she grew tomatoes and cucumbers. Donna was a wife, mother, mamaw, sister, and a fighter who will be remembered for her big heart, generosity, and love for helping others. She will be missed beyond measure.

     In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Marcy Bowling.

     Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 40 years, Roger Sebastian; beloved children, Christopher Roger (Susan Rachel) Sebastian, Tyler (Julia) Sebastian, Samuel Sebastian, Matthew Sebastian, Sean Sebastian, Kaleah Sebastian, and Kaiser Sebastian;  grandchildren, Chloe, Bryson, Liam, Levi, and Eleanor; sister, Charity Hope (Wendell) Smith; brother, Marty Beach; brother-in-law, Sammy Sebastian; sister-in-law, Phyllis Reffitt; nieces and nephews, Whitney, Kayla, Allie, Carly, Jordan, Brian, Anthony, Doodle, Shon, Justin, John, Josh, Larry, Aubree, Xavier, Amelia, and Kayla; her dog, Lila; as well as many other good friends and relatives who will cherish her memory.

     A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway Florence, KY 41042. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Donna will be laid to rest on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 12:00PM in Shepherds Cemetery in Booneville, KY.
