Obituary of Olga "Lynn" Price

     Olga “Lynn” Price (Pike) 72, peacefully went to be with our Lord, January 13, 2022 at Sumner County Medical Center in Gallatin, Tennessee.  Lynn was born July 21, 1949 in Williamstown, Kentucky to JW and Ama Pike. 

      She was married to Noel Eugene “Gene” Price, June 30, 1979 until his passing, June 26, 2014.  Lynn was an avid reader, a master at crochet, and a devoted true crime fan, she also absolutely loved animals and had an amazing bond with our dogs Casey and Reveille. She was a quiet woman with an intense stubborn streak and a heart of gold.  She deeply loved her family with her entire being and always ended each night, every text and phone call with, “I love you”.  She was a daughter, a mom, a nanny, a memaw, a sister, a wife and a friend.  Our hearts are broken but we know that she is healed in the arms of Jesus. 

     Lynn is preceded in death by her father and mother, JW and Ama Pike, grandmother Hazeltine “grandma-mom” Chipman, and husband Noel Eugene Price.  

     Carrying on her legacy are her loving daughter Amy (Chad) Cain; her beloved grandchildren, granddaughter Shaelyn (Jason) Sams; and grandson Indiana Cain; the joy of her heart, great-granddaughter Marley “Moo-moo” Noelle; loving siblings, Reva (Robert) White; Tom (Brenda) Pike; Deborah Morgan; Kevin (Sandy) Pike; a loving group of nieces and nephews; cousins and extended family and friends. 

     Ephesians 2:4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions, it is by grace you have been saved.  And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms of Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.  

     In keeping with Lynn’s wishes, a graveside service will be held at Independence Cemetery on Wednesday, January 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
