Dear Friends, Diane and I wish you the best and are sorry for your loss. Ray was a true force of nature. If he was involved in a task or project, you knew it was one that would be well done. One of the kindest man we ever met. He had an influence on so many things, that I suspect we do not even know them all yet. Its easy to see him in his sons. His heritage is one that will not be matched by many. Bless you as you move forward in life. He will definitely be missed.

Janice, Jeff, Stace, & Kurt we want you to know you are in our prayers that God will comfort you with His hope, love and peace. A passion for horses was instilled in our entire family that remains today was started at your farm. We have many wonderful memories. A particular incident with Ray happened when he visited us and was rocking in a chair when it turned over. He was so happy, because that fixed his back which was troubling him. Fun 4-H meetings, horse shows, first visit to Congress……..We cherish those memories and pray they give you comfort. Love and prayers to all of you. Gene & Linda Heidel

Rest in Peace Ray. Thank you for being the man you were, for the friendship and the mentoring you so kindly gave of yourself. For the years we spent at Zimmer Hardware together with Bob and Emily and the gift of knowledge you shared. For the good times we spent with magnetic signs, with Dennis working on the Dixie Highway building and working on the new horse barns. Memories I still cherish. I’m so sorry to hear this. I was so happy to run into him and Mrs. Keeney at Walgreen’s not too long ago after not seeing them for decades. Many of my favorite childhood memories revolve around the Keeney farm and family. I’ll always remember Mr. Keeney as one of the kindest men I’ve known. Sending all of you a lot of love.

Thank you so much Cathleen. We feel the exact same way about you and your family. It's hard to explain to people who were not there that our neighborhood was a horse farm and everyone had a pony or a horse. Truly a wonderful way to grow up. Much love to all. Kurt and the Keeney Family.
