Obituary of Hilda Rose Jump

Hilda Rose Williams Jump, 87, of Independence, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.
She was a homemaker and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Independence. Her husband, Ralph Jump; a son, Howard Kennesaw Jump; and a daughter, Ruth Tate, preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons, Harry Sidney Jump of Walton and Ralph C. Jump of Independence; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association, 745 W. Main St., Suite 150, Louisville, Ky. 40202
