Obituary of Terrie Rabe

Terrie (nee Schneider) Rabe, age 73, of Broomfield, CO (formerly of Union, KY) passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 peacefully at home.

She was born on August 31, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Stanley and Hilda (nee Rodgers) Schneider. Terrie worked for Great American as an Underwriter.

She retired to Colorado where she devoted herself to being a full-time grandma. Throughout her life she was deeply involved in her church. She served communion every Sunday and met with friends for fellowship on Friday nights. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, hiking, camping, and watching hockey.

Terrie is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jack. She is survived by her children, Missy (Eric) Cope; Rod (Neeta) Cope; siblings Brian (Bessie) Schneider, Dawn Grant, and Stanley Schneider; grandchildren Evan and Zora.

A committal service for Terrie will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 beginning at 11am at Highland Cemetery Chapel.

To celebrate her life, we have set up a Memorial Grove in Terrie's name through an organization called Trees for a Change. The trees will be planted in a National Forest that was destroyed by wildfire. Terrie's trees will help restore the beauty of the forest and will be a living tribute to her for years to come.
