Met Mike three years ago at a workshop and he made a great impression, you'd know by meeting him almost immediately he was a great person to be around with and that one could learn a lot from him as well.
I'm short of words and know he will be greatly missed by us at work, and certainly so very much by his family and close friends. May our Lord comfort your hearts during this difficult time, both through his promises and the very good memories of Mike. Hugs and prayers to you,

I am sorry for your loss. Mike was a great IT Network Manager. I was on the EDI Team at the time and Schneider Electric was outsourcing the team. I was on my last day in the elevator when I over heard a person talking about leaving Mikes team. I stopped the elevator immediately headed to his office. We talked and later interviewed. He gave me a second chance when I was out the door that day. I have been to his house for a party and seen his barn and tractor. He took pride in his work.

Since day 1 that my family and I moved to USA ( from Brazil ) Mike has been presented. And it has been 15 years having him in my life.
Mike has been a fantastic friend and mentor. He was tough sometimes, but kind always !
I echo what Brandon said about "I have an opportunity to you" as being a key thing Mike would say. And he gave me lots of "opportunities".
On several occasions I got "stuck" with Mike , travelling to several places : France , Mexico , Nashville , Boston , etc. It was always very exciting , on the work hours and after too. He was always in good mood, elevating our moral .
Of course his departure will leave a hole in our lives , but I am very glad with each second I expended with him. And I am sure God is receiving Mike with open arms !
Mike will always be our North Star , pointing to the direction of how we want to be. Someone with immense love to share and with an integrity we all should pursue.
Carla ( my wife ) and I are praying every single day that God gives us all strength , specially the whole beautiful family Mike has.
With love, Osvaldo and Carla

I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was a great friend of mine at Schneider and we have known each other for 28 years. He was a special guy and always looked at things in a positive way. I loved the way Mike could provide direction and take command of situations that could have gotten out of hand with others. He always stayed calm, listened, and then helped decide what was always best. He was a great people person and was placed in the right role at SE I cannot imagine the void that his family will feel, as I know there will be one big one at work that many will never know. I will be praying for you during this stage in life and pray that God will give you peace to rest in his grace.

when you feel low,
think of Michael,
think of light,
He'll always be here,
day or night,

out of sight,

think of gladness,

I will never forget my Uncle Mike. All of my life he has always given me honest advice; ever since I was old enough to listen, through every success and struggle. He always wanted the best for all of us. He truly cared about the men we would become. Pushing us to carry on that same hard work, pride and love for family that he had. You can really tell how successful someone’s life was by how many people loved them. The Patriarch and centerpiece that Mike was to his family is what I strive to be for mine. He will be missed but will live on and be celebrated by all of us that were lucky enough to call him uncle, son, dad, apaw, friend, brother or husband.

You can't ever say enough good things about Mike. He has been a mentor and a great friend to me. I have learned so much working for him over the years. He truly cared about everyone he worked with and always knew how to get the most out of you. One of my favorite things he would say just before he gave you a job or a project went something like, '... I got an opportunity for you...'.
It did take me long to figure out when I heard those words it was not going to be an easy task, but that was the perfect thing to say. He was right. Any work that is difficult or challenging is an 'opportunity' to prove what you can achieve. I admired his positive approach and how he could motivate people to get things done. He will be missed by so many.

Heaven gained an Angel when Mike left this earth. Deepest Sympathy and Prayers for his dear family and friends. What a special, kind, hard working man he was. I was privileged to work with Mike at Square D for a long time. Rest in peace, well done.

My deepest sympathy to Mike’s family! Mike was one of the best men I have ever met. I only knew him at work but I would guess he was an excellent husband and father. May he rest in peace. He will be missed!

I was Mike’s next door office mate when we were in Erlanger. We greeted each other each morning with “is it time to go home yet?” and a laugh and a “C’mon! It’s time to escape” the end of each day.
I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers of peace and comfort to you all.

I always say you can judge a person by the legacy they leave. When Blake and I started working together it was like we had been friends forever on the first night. Our relationship has grown into a virtual brotherhood. Mike once told me how he had to show some tough love to his sons. You could tell how much he loved them but loved even more having to teach them a life lesson.
The Wayman family has always been very welcoming and fun loving just like Mike. He was always smiling and joking. He worked hard and played harder. He instilled some many great qualities into both of his sons. They both married some awesome, strong women who became great mothers.
I only met Mike a handful of times but these things were easy to determine. I know he was a Kid Rock fan. "Only God knows why" he left us so soon.
Honored to be entrusted with the care and satisfaction of families since 1906
