Obituary of Jo Ann Johnson

Jo Ann Johnson, 78, of Union passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. She was an employee of St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence where she enthusiastically served others who came into her care. Jo Ann was also a member of Zion Baptist Church of Walton and a regular attendee of Florence Baptist at Mt. Zion. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years John Franklin Johnson in 2010 and son Ricky Johnson. Survivors include daughters Brenda Johnson of Washington D.C., Michele Johnson of Florence, Nannette Johnson of Union, Johnnie Johnson of Union, and Cheryl Floyd of Union; sons Barry Johnson of Florence, William Johnson of Erlanger, Daryl Johnson of Florence, and Chad Johnson of Crestview Hills; sisters Betty and Barbara Humphrey both of Cincinnati; grandchildren Chase, Jamila, Pierre, Aaron, Johnathon, and Jasmine. Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of the funeral service at1PM Friday, December 2, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Walton, 47 South Main Street Walton, KY 41094.
