Obituary of Charles E. Worley

Charles D. Worley, 83, of Florence, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was owner of Charles Worley and Sons Builders, a member of Florence Church of God and a Navy veteran of World War II. His wife, Irene Worley, died in 1995. A son, Ronald Worley, died in 1966.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Worley of Florence; sons, Randy Worley and Charles Worley Jr., both of Florence; sisters, Bertha Owens and Alma Richardson, both of McCreary County; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Florence Church of God. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Hopeful Lutheran Church Cemetery, Florence. Memorials are suggested to Florence Church of God, 7275 Hopeful Church Road, Florence, Ky. 41042.
