Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Goecke

Mary Elizabeth (Hudson) Goecke, age 83, of Williamstown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 9, 2018. She was born on October 7, 1934 in Michigan to the late James and Ruby Hudson.

Mary was a homemaker who loved animals and enjoyed doing arts and crafts and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Goecke; brothers, Jimmy, George, Junior, Thomas  and Sonny; sister, Juanita; sons Robert and Billy, and daughter Kathy Goecke.

Mary is survived by her children, Donna Gibson, Charlene Fausz, Charles Goecke, Wanda Lester, Jeff Goecke and Diane Hensley; 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren and a very special daughter-in-law, Rebecca Williams Goecke.

A visitation for Mary will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 11AM to 1PM with the Funeral Service immediately following at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton.

Interment will be at Gardnersville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mary requested Memorial donations be made to the Grant County Animal Shelter, 218 Barnes Road, Williamstown, KY 41097.
