Donald Glenn Alexander, age 81, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 2, 2018.

Donald was born in Owenton, KY, to the late Willie and Christina Agee Alexander. He was a retired welder and assembly man for American Laundry Machine Industries, and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Donald loved the Lord with all of his heart, soul, and mind, and loved going to church. In his free time Donald enjoyed fishing and gardening. He is preceded in death by his 12 brothers and sisters. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Sue Hagy Alexander, whom he always introduced as his bride Sue. He is also survived by his daughter, Donna (Chris) Tanner, and grandchildren, Cole, Evan, and Sean Tanner.

A burial for Donald will be held on Monday, August 6, 2018, at 2pm, at Holston View Cemetery, in Weber City, Virginia.
