Obituary of Ralph Wallace Finnell

Ralph Wallace Finnell, age 92, of Stamping Ground, formerly of Visalia, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018.

He was born to the late, George and Lena Finnell, on April 20, 1926 in Morning View, KY. Ralph was a self-employed construction worker who enjoyed UK basketball, golfing and reading.

He was a founding member of the Kenton Community Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Bradford Masonic Lodge #123 in Independence and a member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics.

Ralph is preceded by his parents, his wife, Elsie Finnell in 2011 and his brothers, George and Charles.

He is survived by his three sons, Eric Finnell (Tammy), Gregory Finnell (Debra) and Wallace Finnell (Deborah); brother, Kenneth Finnell (Bernice); grandchildren, Amy, Adam, Christopher, Kimberly and Amanda; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Ralph will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 10AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 12PM, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Interment will immediately follow at Independence cemetery.
