Obituary of Robert William Smith
Robert William Smith, age 100, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
Robert was born in Cincinnati, OH, to the late William and Florence Smith. He served his country during World War ll, as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army Infantry. He was a retired purchase agent for Alvey-Ferguson; and later worked in sales until he was 88. In his free time, he loved to sing and read. Robert was a foster parent for over 10 years and was involved with the Clermont County Pregnancy Center. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years, Thelma Adler Smith, and his second wife of 23 years, Lora Smith. Robert is survived by his children, Jody (Scott) Clear, and Robert (Marilyn) Smith Jr.; sister, Gloria Skoog; brother, William Smith; grandchildren, Robert (Nicole) Smith lll, Barbara (René) Rocha, Maria (John) Thompson; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Robert lV, and Nora Smith, Miguel and Lesly Rocha. Along with several nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends and family members.

ALL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT ARLINGTON MEMORIAL GARDENS
A visitation for Robert will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018, from 1 to 2 pm, at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH. Funeral services will begin at 2 pm. at Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made payable to Care Net Pregnancy Services of Northern Kentucky, P.O. Box 17688, Covington, KY, 41017.
