Obituary of Eugene William Eades

Eugene William Eades, of Florence, KY passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the age of 92. He was born in Powell Co, KY on August 3, 1925; the son of Albert and Ethel Eades. Eugene had worked as a mechanic for Eades Brother’s Trucking and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Log Lick Christian Church and enjoyed watching Cincinnati Reds baseball, watching basketball and playing cards. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family and friends.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; devoted wife, Bernice Eades and a step-son, Donald Watson.

He is survived by his brothers, Earl Lee Eades and Cecil Richard Eades; one grandchild; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, may 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Log Lick Cemetery in Winchester, KY.
