Obituary of Ruth Carol Dunn

Ruth Carol (Tyson) Dunn, age 83, of Independence, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.

Ruth was born in Cynthiana, KY on December 22, 1934 to the late, Leroy and Lillian Tyson. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and doting on her husband and daughter. Ruth was a loving mother and wife throughout her life, which never went unnoticed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene “Gene” Dunn in June of 2017 and many brothers and sisters. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Leoma; her sister, Reeda Crawford and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

A graveside service for Ruth will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, beginning at 11AM, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2089 Versailles Rd., Lexington, KY 40504.
