Obituary of Carolyn LeRay Ward
Carolyn LeRay Ward, 93, of Cincinnati, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at The Jewish Hospital.
She was born to Frank and Annie LeRay on August 21, 1924 in Wilmington, NC.
She spent most of her life in Sanford, FL, was a secretary for General Dynamics, and very active in her church. She loved animals, the beach, and baking.
Carolyn was a kind spirited person who would spread that among anyone she came into contact with. She adored her family and spending quality time with them.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Wade J. Ward Sr.; daughter, Apryl Ward; brother, Frank LeRay and her parents.
She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Wade Jr. and Kelly; brother, Alton LeRay; grandchildren, Wade Elder, Kayla, Casey, and Sydney Ward; and great-grandchildren, Bentley Ward, Arlo and Emmie Lou Elder.
Services for Carolyn will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
