Obituary of Robert P. Mullikin
Robert Paul Mullikin, of Florence, KY passed away at his residence in Florence, KY on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the age of 70. He was born on May 14, 1947 in Covington, KY; the son of the late Roy and Martha Mullikin.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from CSX railroad where he was a conductor for 37 years. Robert enjoyed woodworking, remodeling houses and building furniture, although his greatest joy was taking family vacations to Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steven Mullikin; and father-in-law, Edwin Parks.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Janet Mullikin; son Brett (Meghan) Mullikin; Daughter Hope (Josh) Willen; grandchildren, Liam and Grant Willen; sisters, Barbara Lakes and Linda Landrum; mother-in-law, Emma Parks; as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Florence Baptist Church-Mt. Zion Campus, 642 Mt. Zion Road, Florence KY 41042. Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.
