Obituary of Nina Stricker

Nina Ann Stricker, age 76, of Erlanger, Ky., passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She was a home maker, artist, and employee of McAlpin’s. 

Nina was a very active member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Erlanger, KY.  Nina enjoyed many types of art including painting, calligraphy, creating dolls and toys, and quilting.  She was a member the LWML (Lutheran Women Missionary League), Homemakers, and the Red Hats Society. 

Nina is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stricker; along with her parents, Thomas and Evelyn Taylor.  

She is survived by her loving children, Douglas (Lisa) Stricker and LT. Col. Gregory (Kate) Stricker; sister, Gail Taylor; grandchildren, Kaitlin (Jonathon) Blackburn, Ben Stricker, Charlotte Stricker, Lauren Stricker, and Victoria Stricker; great-grandchildren, Cayden and Madelyn Blackburn; along with many other relatives and friends. 

A visitation for Nina will be held on Sunday, January 7^th, 2018 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, Ky from 2:00 PM until the time of funeral services at 4.  Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY on Monday, January 8^th, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
