Obituary of Dorothy Louise Casson

Dorothy Louise Hale Casson, age 77, of Morning View, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 11, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospice. 

She was a homemaker and member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Dorothy enjoyed music, spending time with her family and her church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Mildred Hale and her daughter-in-law, Becky Casson.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, James “Frank” Casson; her beloved children, Jimmy Casson, Tammie Casson and Todd (Cynthia) Casson; sister, Diane Jump (Ralph); grandchildren, Mitchel (Sarah), Taylor (Danielle), Chelsea (Tim Schulze), Morgan and Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Carter, Bradley, Caraline and Charlotte.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 5PM until 8PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence.

The Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 15, 2017, 12PM, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 11969 Taylor Mill Rd, Independence, KY 41051. Interment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
