Obituary of Virginia Pauline Hurston

Virginia Pauline King Hurston, age 89, of Walton, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence.  She was a member of Shiloh Full Gospel Church in Corinth, KY. She taught Sunday School for many years at Walton Church of God.  Ms. Hurston also enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, and spending time with her family.  Her husband, Claude Estil Hurston, Sr. and brothers, Edward King and Jack King preceded her in death.  She is survived by her sons Claude Estil Hurston, Jr. (Joyce) of Corinth, David Hurston of Walton, John Hurston (Donna) of Falmouth; daughters Linda Haynes and Sherry Poole (Donald) of Walton; brother, Euford King; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Monday, November 27, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with funeral services immediately following at 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton.  Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.  Memorials may be made to Shiloh Full Gospel Church, 266 Keefer Rd., Corinth, KY 41010.  Online condolences may be expressed to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
