Obituary of Carl William Lashinsky Jr.
Carl William Lashinsky, Jr., age 80, of Elsmere, went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was born to the late Carl and Grace on May 5, 1937 in Daisy Town, PA.
Carl retired after 30+ years from J.C. Noyes as a driver and was named a Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of Crescent Springs Church of God and had been a member of Florence Church of God. Carl was a devoted follower of Christ serving his Lord as a choir director, Sunday school teacher and head usher for both churches. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Timothy Wayne Lashinsky.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Imogene; daughters, Pamela Turner (Steve) and Melissa Schaffer (Jason); daughter-in-law, Jeannie Lashinsky; grandchildren, Mark Sr., Susan, Jennifer (Ernie), Doug, Emily and Felicity (Ben); great-grandchildren, Mark Jr., Eddie, Joseph and Johnathan; and great friend, Roger Pennington.
A visitation for Carl will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 10AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 12PM, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers are suggested to Crescent Springs Church of God, 2500 High St., Crescent Springs, Kentucky 41017 or to the American Diabetes Association, 4555 Lake Forest Dr., Blue Ash, Ohio 45242.
