Obituary of Robert "Bob" Louis Kohler

Robert “Bob” Louis Kohler, age 79, of Crittenden, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at his residence. He was born to the late Philip and Mayme Kohler on September 23, 1938 in Walton, KY.

Bob worked for over 20 years at Hocks Buick in Cincinnati and owned Kohler’s Auto Body Shop, where he did painting and body work. He enjoyed restoring vehicles and tractors and had even restored a 730 John Deere tractor. Bob also had a love for fishing, traveling and being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Raymond and Philip Kohler.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Elaine; sons, Wes Kohler, Danny Kohler (Brenda) and Andy Kohler (Ellen); step-children, Karen Butt (Bill), Michael Penick (Terry) and Todd Penick (Lisa); sister, Margie Seng (Elmer “Doc”); grandchildren, Dawn, Laura, Phillip, Holley and Robert; step-grandchildren, Matthew and Thomas Butt, Mallory Trenkamp, Moriah, Mackenzie, Austin and Travis Penick; great-grandchildren, Kenzie and Landon; step-great-greatgrandchildren, Ethan and Emily Butt and Everett Trenkamp; and his beloved yorkie, Murphy.

A visitation for Bob will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 10AM until 12PM at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1150 Donaldson Road., Erlanger, KY 41018.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12PM, also at the church. Interment will immediately follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Verona.
