Obituary of Thomas Ray Beetem

Thomas “Tom” Ray Beetem, age 64, of Florence, KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 1, 2017. He was born to the late Edwin and Mary Beetem on July 5, 1953 in Covington, KY.

Tom had worked for Metalcraft as an assistant plant manager in his earlier years and was a member of the Masons Good Faith Lodge #95. .

He was a lifelong member of Kentoboo Baptist Church, where he was a trustee and devoted much of his time serving.

Tom enjoyed camping, boating, woodworking, being a handyman and most of all, spending time with his family.

He was a very loving person with a big heart willing to help anyone in need. Tom will be missed dearly by all whom he had touched throughout his life.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Stanley Wayne Beetem and nephew, Timothy Wayne Beetem.

He is survived by his loving siblings, Phillip (Mary Ann) Beetem, Linda (Joseph) Gamble and Barry (Connie) Beetem; nephews, Jeff, Mike, Derron, Jason and Jeremy; niece, Hollee; great-nephew, who lived with Tom, Tyler Gamble. A visitation for Tom will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 5PM until 8PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence.

The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, October 5, 2017 beginning at 11AM, also at the funeral home.

Interment will immediately follow at Burlington Cemetery.
