Obituary of Malcolm Edward Strouse
Malcolm “Ed” Edward Strouse, age 59, of Independence, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his residence. He was a United States Airforce Veteran and attended Community Family Church.
He enjoyed camping, playing the guitar, UK basketball and most recently, woodworking.
Ed is preceded in death by his father, George Strouse and daughter, Christina Strouse.
He is survived by his loving children, Shane (Christy) Strouse, Melissa (Tim) Sharpshair and Shannon (Logan) Key; mother, Joan Strouse; sisters, Amy (Jim) Butler and Cheri (Mike) Olson; brother, Tim (Kathy) Strouse; grandchildren, Kaylee and Kaleb Sharpshair; and the mother of his children, Lois Oveson.
A visitation for Ed will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 11:30AM until 12:30PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence.
A graveside service will immediately follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.
