Obituary of Robert Martin

Bobby D. Martin, age 41, of Union, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence. He was an independent Insurance Adjuster and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Bobby loved spending time with his family and dogs, woodworking, model trains, die cast cars, playing cards, NASCAR, and his John Deere tractor. An outdoorsman, he also enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking and motorcycles. His father, Raymond Martin preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Jenene Hudson Martin of Union; mother, Ruby Vinson Martin of Walton; brothers, Mike Martin of Walton and Donnie Martin of Independence; two godchildren; two nephews; and two nieces. A gathering of friends will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 11969 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051. Memorial services will begin at 6 p.m. at the church.
