Dad used to stack his cookies on the coffee table infront of him while he watched tv, sometimes he would have a stack so high he would have to look around it just to see the tv. lol, He loved his ice cream too, i went to get some from the store one time and when i got back home he had a spoon in his hand waiting, i hope heaven has stocked up on cookies and ice cream.

Hi Ya Bud! I can just see you playing with your change, shuffling it in your hand and stacking it on the table. I have never met another man, in my life, who would show his wife so much love and affection, as you did your precious Geri. You will be deeply missed here on Earth, but we all know you are now so happy, strong, healthy and young, and enjoying being in Heaven with our Father God and all the angels. I will be looking forward to seeing you again in the sweet by and by...All my love, Your friend....Paula Baird

Pud, you are so dearly missed, but above that, you are dearly loved. All my life, you were my friend, a father-n-law,and like another father to me. The last 6 months, you were a very special person in my life. Gary and I came to love you and respect you so much more than anyone would believe. I know you are in heaven with my momma, and all your family. I know you are flexing those muscles (without a shirt) playing with your change, and telling those jokes. You and Geri (Mud) have tought me that love is unconditional and you do not have to be blood to be a family. Thank you for loving your grandchildren all thier lives. We love you Pud, I could sit here and talk to you all day. But as I close I want to say I love you, and one last question for you, "Whatcha dodin?" Rest in Peace my friend, my father. I love you. PJ, and Gary, Zack, and Brayden.

In the last minutes that you were here with us, before Jesus took you home, the words I spoke to you, me and kiwi will be ok and I will always, always love you. You will always be with me. Everything I do, everywhere I go. I will try to be strong for you like I promised you. We had a wonderful long life together, that's why it is so hard to be strong. But I promise that when I think of you, it will be thoughts of happy times.
We will always love you,
Geri and your baby girl, Kiwi

I can only imagine what my Daddy is doing now. He is starting his morning off by making a pot of coffee and frying eggs for him and God and all the others to have breakfast together. If they say they don't want any, he would reply "Well if you starve to death, it won't be my fault. You can't blame me."
Then he would go out for his morning walk, only now he doesn't need a breathing treatment afterwards. He would them probably go fishing, and look around for some mischief. I'm sure during the day, he would smoke a cigarette or two and say to the others "Don't tell mom, she'll get mad". And he would get a bunch of lottery tickets and spend the afternoon scratching them off. Then he may find a bingo hall or casino to go to for the evening.
So, Dad, now that you have arrived, I have to ask you a few questions that you asked me almost every time we spoke. First of all, "Are you happy?, Why?" And second, "What do you think about the whole situation?" Now I sit here trying to imagine what your answers would be....
I love you Dad and will miss you so much.

To my other Family who I love dearly there are no words I can say to make this easier for y'all but know that I love each and everyone of you. this is a poem i have always liked hopefully y'all will like it to....God looked upon his garden And found an empty place. He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain. He knew you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb So he closed your weary eyelids And whispered "Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one The chain will link again. We will miss you Paw(Larry) all our love Lisa, Jon and Amanda

I love & miss you so much pappaw. You were a great guy & always kept a smile on my face. I will always remind Brookelynne of you and mammaw. I hope you are having a great time up there, and I will always look at the sky & know you are smiling down. Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss; Ah yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all to brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free. With all my love, Chelsia
