Obituary of Kathyrn Martha Thwaites

Kathryn M. Smith Thwaites, 89, of Morning View, died Wednesday at Madonna Manor, Villa Hills. She was a former owner of Country Hardware in West Nyack, N.Y., and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Chapala Chapter. Her husband, Arthur Herbert Stever, died in 2002.
Survivors include daughters, Carol Lynne Sanchez of Mexico and Deborah Jay Trego of Morning View; a son, Rodger Whitman Stever of Dry Ridge; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at Oak Island Baptist Church, Morning View. Visitation will begin there at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Memorials are suggested to Madonna Manor Nursing Home, 2344 Amsterdam Road, Villa Hills, Ky. 41017. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, is handling arrangements.
