Obituary of Lester Grubb

Lester Grubb, 62, of Independence, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011. He was owner/operator of Grubb Consulting and a member of Community Family Church in Independence. He was a master of all trades including excavating, plumbing and building. Mr. Grubb also enjoyed eating sweets and was always helping people, but his main love was for the Lord. Survived by his wife, Nancy Reed Grubb; daughter, Sondra Addy of Vancover, WA; sons, Rick Sester of Walton and David Sester of Falmouth; sister Evon Woods of Manchester; brothers Whitley, Alvin and Bobby Joe Grubb, all of Manchester; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, September 5, 2011 from 5-8 pm at Community Family Church. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 am at the church. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorial donations are requested to: Community Family Church Building Fund, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, Ky. 41051.
