Obituary of Jeffrey Meeks

Jeffrey Keith Meeks, age 31, of Florence, died Monday in Independence. He was a graduate of Simon Kenton High School and a former employee at International Paper. Jeff loved sports including football, baseball, and golf, and enjoyed playing video games and music.
He is survived by his parents, Giltner and Barbara Meeks of Florence; brothers, Jim and Jamison (Tricia) Meeks of Florence; and sister, Kristy (Jim) O'Brien of Florence; five nieces; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 4th, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs in Florence. Funeral services will begin at 5 p.m. Interment will be at Crittenden Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Seven Hills Church, 6800 Hazel Ct., Florence, KY 41042 or Vietnam Veterans of America, P.O. Box 81, Florence, KY 41022.
