I remember so many things about Dwayne. His loving heart, his beautiful smile. How he always would give me a big kiss and tell me he loved me. How he would patiently listen to whatever I had to say even when he did not agree with me. One of my favorite memories, even though at the time it scared me, was when he was about 9 or 10. He was at my house and as everyone knows I always had candy "hidden" somewhere and I never tell a kid no when they ask. Well this one day he ran across some "chocolate" candy wrapped in foil. I think he thought it was his lucky day! There were four pieces of candy and he didn't have to share them with anyone. He knew grandma would let him have them because she always said yes. so he ate all of them. It was but a short time, a very short time later he discovered it wasn't candy!! He spent the next few hours in and out of the bath tub, but to make matters worse that was also the day for his team picture. So when he was finally able to go to get the picture taken he had to make many trips running down the hill. I guess you have fugured out by now the "chocolate" candy he ate was actually Exlax. I miss you so much and love you. Grandma Brockman
