Obituary of Willard Nicewonder

Willard "Bill" D. Nicewonder, age 93, of Independence, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. A retired welder/construction worker, he was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local 392 and enjoyed carpentry and working with wood. Mr. Nicewonder was preceded in death by wives Dorothy and Crystal "Dolly" Nicewonder.
He is survived by daughters Patricia Osborne, Marlene Faulkner, and Dona-Lea Harmon, sons Mark Nicewonder, Mike Nicewonder and Floyd Gibson, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 10am-12pm at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence with the funeral service following at 12pm. Mr. Nicewonder will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to American Red Cross, P.O. Box 4002018, Des Moines, Ia.
