Obituary of William Kirby

William Clarence Kirby, age 84, of Erlanger, died June 21, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospice of Edgewood. He was a retired Senior Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force where he proudly served for over 24 years. Mr. Kirby was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Air Force Sergeant's Association, the Enlisted/Retired Air Force Association, the American Military Society, American Legion Post #29, and was a KY Colonel. His wife, Nell Kirby preceded him in death in 2003. Survivors include his children, Ramona (Brent) Lahner, Mark (Marty) W. Kirby, Cindy Miles, Cathy (Joe) Schreiber, and Don (Kathy) Eger; sisters, Neva Joyce Jump and Geraldine Butler; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Florence United Methodist Church.
Memorial donations may be sent to St. Elizabeth Hospice.
