Obituary of Juanita Huff

Juanita B. Greenwell Huff, 89, of Florence, KY, formerly of Palmetto, FL, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. She was a supervisor at R.L. Polk & Co., member of Palmetto First Baptist Church of Florida and Bethesda Community Church of Independence where she was very active in church ministries including VBS, home visits to shut-ins and making hand-stitched baby quilts. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles B. Huff in 1999, daughter Karen Overstreet in 2000, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include daughter Judy (Tim) Freimuth of Florence; grandchildren Jill Shoffner of Oak Ridge, TN, Darrell Cox and Sonja Chilcutt of Clarksville, TN, Peter Ricken of Palmetto, FL, and Brooke Shoupe of Ft. Thomas, KY; great-grandchildren Tyler, Aaron, Lauren, Spencer, Luke, Lucy, Sierra, Tyler and Sydney; best friend Clairene Hampton of Florence and many other friends and family. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 4:00PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Graveside service will be at Mansion Memorial Park, of Ellenton, FL, Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 12:30 PM where she will be laid to rest next to her husband of 53 years.
