Obituary of Alma Williams

Alma Lee Williams, age 83, entered into her rest after a long illness Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Grant Manor Nursing Home in Williamstown KY. Alma was formerly a resident of Independence KY and was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She was employed by Kansas City Life Insurance as a Private Secretary and later retired from Kent Refrigeration as a Bookkeeper. Alma was preceded in death by her father, Robert H. Williams Sr. and her Mother, Alma Williams (Independence). She is survived by her brother, Robert H. Williams Jr., two sisters: Pauline Cooper and Joyce Holt (Independence); numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a private graveside service at Independence Cemetery in Independence, KY on Thursday, March 24th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jay Holt (Nephew) officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence KY.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be sent to: Lawrenceville Baptist Church of Corinth KY, 3650 Lawrenceville Road, Corinth, KY 41003.
