Obituary of Doris Hicks

Doris Mae Hicks, 52 , of Demossville, died on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. Mrs. Hicks was a homemaker and a member of Demossville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Naomi Dodd and 3 brothers, James C. Dodd, Ralph "Skip" Dodd and Thomas Dodd, Jr. She is survived by her husband John Hicks; a daughter, Sherry Perkins of Independence; 3 sons, Ronnie Hicks of Piner and Jerry and Donnie Hicks both of Crittenden; 4 sisters, Mary Hicks of Bracken County, Janie Barnett of Latonia, Susan Mullins of Erlanger and Carol Van Buskirk of Cincinnati, OH.; and by 13 grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 2-3 pm with the funeral service following at 3pm. Mrs. Hicks will be laid to rest at Wilmington Cemetery in Demossville, KY
