Obituary of Myrtle Bowman

Myrtle B. (Lyons) Bowman, 73, of Florence, died Thursday, January 20, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at home under the care of Hospice of St. Elizabeth Edgewood, who were treating her for several months. She worked for Senior Services of NKY and delivered Meals on Wheels. She is preceded in death by her son Gregory Bowman and husband Alfred Bowman. Survivors include daughters: Kathy Vissman of Cincinnati, Karen Lonkard of Union, Kim Shirley of Erlanger, and Kelly Bowman of Florence. Sons include Jeffrey Bowman of Florence, and Ryan Bowman of Florence. Ms. Bowman also has 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A gathering of friends will be from 11AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1PM Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of St. Elizabeth, 483 S. Loop Drive Edgewood, KY 41017.
