Obituary of William Mastin

William "Bill" Edward Mastin, 86, of Walton, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. He was retired from General Motors where he was a painter, an Army Veteran of WWII, a member of Walton United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Cecil Mastin in 1981 and Brother Jim Mastin in 2009. Survivors include wife Janet Mastin; daughter Linda Webster of Williamstown, KY; son David Mastin of Walton, KY; step-daughter Debra Wagner of Loveland, OH; step-sons Randy Bland of Mr. Orab, OH and Russell Blane of Walton, KY; sisters Lucille McKinley, Buelah Stewart and Betty Humphrey all of Georgetown, KY; brothers Emmett "Chigger" Mastin of Cynthiana, KY, Charles Mastin of Fayetteville, KY and Ralph Jett of Mt. Olivet, KY; grandchildren Angie Scroggins of Williamstown, KY, Jasen Mastin of Louisville, KY and Jordan Mastin of Burlington, KY; great-grandchildren Michael and Sarah Scroggins of Williamstown, KY; step-grandchildren Robert Pence of Loveland, OH, Ryan Blane and Ashley Blane of Kansas, Amanda Mills and Andrew Blane of Walton and six step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Walton. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.
