Jim, Karen, Barry, Mike, and Gail, I just wanted to let you know that Katelynn and myself are extremely sorry that we are unable to be there tonigt due to her illness. However, I wanted to let you know how special I think that Aunt Peggy was to us. I feel that Peggy lived to give and she gave us all her unconditional love, laughter, and fun. I reminds that God is the source of life and light and joy to the universe. Like rays of light from the sun, like the streams of water busting from a living spring, blessings flow out from Him to all His creatures. And wherever the life of God is in the hearts of people, it will flow out to others in love and blessing. And that is what Aunt Peggy Hensley gave to all of us! With Love, Toni

To Jim and the Hensley/Hatfield Family, We send our deepest sympathy to all of you. Peggy was a wonderful Angel who will be missed tremendously. She is now rejoicing in the presence of Jesus and smiling that with that precious smile of hers. I know she always called her grandchildren and children her special Angels but in reality she was in fact that precious Angel. We love all of you!!

Jim, Karen & Mike I want you to know that you mother was the warmest, kindest, most tender-hearted lady that I know. She always greeted me at church with a warm smile, big, sincere hug, and always a kind word! I know she had been sick for some time, but we were all believing for healing for her! Well, she is healed and she is in that wonderful place of peace and joy! I will never forget that sleep over that we had at your house when you all lived in Amelia! Those were the good ole' days! I learned so much from your momma even way back then. She was a wonderful, Christian lady! I loved her so much! I just recently learned that when she wrapped gifts for her children and grandchildren, she always put a "gold" bow on it, to let them know they were "good as gold"! So starting this year, I have decided to take on Sister Peggy's tradition! Now are my children really "good as gold"? Well, to me they are! I want you to know that things that your momma did, lessons your momma taught, and kindness that she had toward others, will always live on! I love you all, and you will all, Jim, Karen & Barry, Mike & Gayle, and all of the grandchildren will always be in my prayers! The one thing you all need to remember is, you were all Good as Gold to her!

Peggy, your beautiful smile and warm spirit will be greatly missed here on this old earth.... but we know you are having a long awaited reunion in Heaven with your loved ones there; so we say goodbye for now... until we meet again on Heaven's bright shore. You've run your race and you have made it to the land where we are striving to go. Your trials and pain are all behind you. You are a special lady and have touched the lives of so many people. I love you... and thanks for being my friend! My thoughts and prayers are with Jim, Karen, Barry, Mike, Gayle and all the grandchildren. You were blessed with a wonderful wife/mother/granny. She was the best!
