Obituary of Albert Hill

Albert Hill, age 79, of Independence, died Monday 11/15/10 At St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood. He was a retired Truck Driver for Advance Transportation Trucking Company and a member of Elsmere Baptist Church. Mr. Hill loved visiting his son's farm, working with horses, boating, camping, and visiting the Great Smokey Mountains and Yellowstone Park. His brother, George Hill preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Hagedorn Hill of Independence; sons, Thomas A.Gross of Elsmere and Larry Gross of Edgewood; (4) sisters, Vicki Snyder, Ann Jones, Flossy Hill, and Kathy Barrett, all of Corbin, KY; brothers, Larry Hill, Wayne Hill, Jerry Hill, and Donnie Hill, all of Corbin, KY; and (4) grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday November 20th at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.at Elsmere Baptist Church, 250 Garvey Ave., Elsmere, KY 41018. Memorials can be made to Elsmere Baptist Church.
