James Glenden "Glenn" Williams, 74, of Independence, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a retired transport driver and a member of Carter's Chapel United Methodist Church, Gardnersville.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Williams; a son, Glenn Williams of Burlington; a daughter, Bev Ketron of Independence; a brother, Jeff Williams of Piner; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at noon Thursday. Burial will be in Carter's Chapel Cemetery, Gardnersville. Memorials are suggested to Carter's Chapel United Methodist Church, Attn: Treasurer, 1864 Forest Run, Independence, Ky. 41051.
