Obituary of Jesse Sheridan

Jesse James Sheridan, age 97, of Morning View, died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at his residence. He was a retired butcher for Riley's Grocery in Independence and enjoyed gardening. Mr. Sheridan was preceded in death by his wife Ellen Marguerite Sheridan. Survivors include his daughter, Bertha Jane Dembell of Aurora, IN; (2) sons, James Sheridan of San Francisco, CA and Jerry Sheridan of Morning View, KY; (7) grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 22, 2010 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 5 p.m. Mr. Sheridan will be laid to rest Monday, August 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Independence Cemetery.
