Obituary of Betty McClanahan

Betty "Sue" Cox McClanahan, age 60, of Elsmere, died Thursday August 19, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospice of Edgewood. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and crafts. Mrs. Mclanahan was preceded in death by her son James Earl "Jamie" McClanahan.
Survivors include her husband, James L. McClanahan of Elsmere; daughter, Dawn Brison of Elsmere; son, Thomas McClanahan of Union; (2) brothers, Larry Cox and Dave Cox of Independence; and (6) grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday August 23, 2010 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Florence. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at KY Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown. Memorials can be sent to American Lung Association, 4050 Executive Park Drive, Ste 402, Cincinnati, OH 45241.
