SPARTA - David Lee Hartman, 45, died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, KY. He was a heavy equipment operator for Spartan Construction and a member of Wilmington Baptist Church. Mr. Hartman enjoyed drag racing, hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, and spending time with friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Hartman. Survivors included his (2) sons, Daniel Hartman and Dylan Hartman of Sparta; father, Wendell Hartman, Sr. of Demossville; (1) sister, Rhonda Hartman of Florence; (4) brothers, Wendell Hartman, Jr., of Sparta, Edward Hartman of Dry Ridge, Doug Hartman of Morning View, and Brian Hartman of Independence.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. Interment will be at Wilmington Cemetery.
