INDEPENDENCE - Charles "Lin" Raleigh, 73 died Sunday February 7, 2010 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare. He was a retired parts pickup man for Carlisle Construction. Member of 1st Church of God Covington who enjoyed fishing, hunting and attending Bluegrass music festivals. Survived by wife Julia Sebastian Raleigh, son Jeffrey L. Raleigh, Taylor, Mi., daughters Elaine Osterbrook, Independence, Ky, Brenda Lunsford, Wetumka, Ok and Glenda Schmidt, Florence, Ky. Brothers Edgar Raleigh, Jackson, Ky and Vergil (correctly spellled)Raleigh, Southgate, Ky and 6 grandchildren.
Services will be at Chambers & Grubbs Independence. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 4-8 pm and Funeral will be Thursday at 11 am. Burial will take place in Independence Cemetery.
